Orion undertakes a wide variety of PCB assembly. SMT, through-hole and mixed boards are done in large, medium or small series. PCB assembly uses automatic Siemens SMT lines, Universal and Panasert through-hole insertion machines, besides many manual insertion lines. The service is provided on turnkey or consigned basis or as a combination of the two. A total solution is provided with design support, arrangement for developing test jigs and fixtures, testing systems and flexibility to set up facilities to suit customers’ individual requirements. Besides global sourcing of electronic components, a world-class supplier base exists for local sourcing of plastic mouldings, metal parts, packing material, duplicated CDs, printed material etc.
